Cloud native EDA tools & pre-optimized hardware platforms
This service release provides important fixes to Advanced Analysis and MacroFocal functionality.
The release also includes new features in Advanced Analysis to provide more preprocessing options. You can now scale the input files individually, even without adding them to groups. You can perform a simple scaling, or scale everything relative to the maximum measured value in the UV Data File.
For more details about the fixes and the new features, see the release notes*, available when you download the service release, or from the documentation section of SolvNetPlus*.

The SmartStart Library includes optical properties and materials for commercially available diffusers, reflectors, mold textures, plastics, and glasses to help designers model optical systems with greater accuracy and physical realism. It is available as a separate module in LightTools and LucidShape.
Synopsys regularly adds content to the SmartStart Library on SolvNetPlus. February is time for a new quarterly release. The latest updates include additional optical properties and materials from well-known manufacturers including Röhm, Plaskolite, Luminit, Microrelleus, LX MMA, LG Chemical and some others. Additionally, some new catalogs were added for Young Optics and CST Studio.
To achieve the most accurate simulation results, we recommend downloading the new quarterly release, and replacing those datasets in your downloaded SmartStart Library with these newly published ones.
