Description

Optics are critical components in the rapidly growing technologies of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) systems. And while these systems require optics that meet challenging imaging performance goals, since they are wearable devices, the glasses must also be small, lightweight, and comfortable.

In this 30 minute webinar, we’ll show how lens-based and diffraction grating waveguide-based systems present the display of an AR/VR image to the user. We’ll also show the Synopsys Optical Solutions tools that design them and explain why interoperability between simulation tools is key to performing a simulation of the entire system.
