This newsletter provides the latest information on Synopsys Photonic Solutions including product announcements, new papers, tech talks, upcoming events, and more.
In this issue:
Synopsys presented a technical paper on metalens design at META 2022, the 12th International Conference on Metamaterials, Photonic Crystals and Plasmonics. The paper, titled “A Design Automation and Simulation Flow for Lens Systems Containing Multiple Metasurfaces,” was developed and presented by Dr. Chenglin Xu, RSoft Photonic Device Tools product manager. The paper highlights a metalens design automation flow using inverse design techniques and automatic optimization based on specified target functions. The performance of the optimized metalens system can be validated by different simulation approaches. The presentation is available on request by emailing photonics@synopsys.com.
Beginning October 1, 2022, the Customer Support Portal will be decommissioned.
We’re introducing an enhanced and unified customer experience for accessing product support resources. We invite all customers to access resources through a single Synopsys SolvNetPlus account. In addition to the product software you could download from SolvNetPlus previously, you can now also access an expanding catalog of knowledge articles, and software documentation. It is also integrated with the Synopsys Learning Center for on-demand learning content and tech talk recordings. Key features include:
