Dr. Yijun (Joy) Ding

Dr. Ding is currently serving as an Application Engineer for the Optical Solutions Group at Synopsys. She joined Synopsys, in 2021, working on CODE V optical design software for imaging system optimization and analysis. She is interested in applying CODE V in the frontiers of optical design. Dr. Ding graduated from the University of Arizona with a Ph.D. in Physics focused on medical imaging and a minor in Optics from the Wyant College of Optical Sciences. Dr. Ding also holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China. She has worked in the areas of medical imaging, cancer treatment, computational imaging, and security imaging before joining the Optical Solutions Group.
