We have quite a few customers who switch to TPT despite their existing test solution. For you we have conducted interviews with OEMs and Tier1s and summarized the TOP 5 reasons.

Simulink and TPT: 5 Reasons Why

TOP 1: TPT closes gaps in the test process. TPT can be used for all test stages in the development of software-based systems. One of the most important test stages is the test of generated code. TPT can reuse all test cases at all test levels without additional effort due to its independence from Matlab/Simulink.

TOP 2: TPT is faster. The execution of tests, especially of code, is uniquely fast. We use a virtualization programmed in ANSI-C for the execution of tests.

TOP 3: TPT is incredibly user-friendly. Our users love TPT for its clarity, simplicity and ease of use. Moreover, TPT is also suitable for users without programming knowledge and allows them to create and evaluate test cases. Our documentation is updated for each release and support questions are answered satisfactorily 95% of the time within one day.

TOP 4: TPT is ready for Cloud and Continuous Integration operation. More than 80% of the functions in TPT are accessible via our TPT API. There are no limits to automating the test automation.

TOP 5: TPT can measure model coverage. ISO26262 requires coverage measurements. TPT can determine measurements up to the highest safety-critical systems at the push of a button and automatically generates supplementary test cases at the push of a button.
